Bridgeport logs eight failed food inspections
Bridgeport had eight failed food inspections in November, more than double October's three. Crime fell 16% to 121 incidents; violent offenses dropped to 27 from 40. Graffiti removal requests led 311 calls at 202, followed by 87 rodent complaints. Permits dropped to 22 from 39, though the total dollar value slipped just 5% to $2.4 million. A dozen of those were express permits. No businesses opened or closed.
