Eleven permits pulled in February totaled $658,244, more than double January's $321,200. Five were renovation jobs; six ran through the express program. Three businesses opened: Coco's Famous Fried Lobster, a retail food spot, plus Exotic Car Wash and Genetik Bleu. Residents called in 189 service requests, down a third from the month before. Potholes led the list with 27 complaints. Crime dropped too—55 incidents versus 81 in January, with violent offenses falling from 30 to 17.
