Ashburn permits drop to zero after May lull
Ashburn issued no building permits in May, down from nine in April. The neighborhood also logged zero 311 service requests after 463 the month prior. Six new business licenses did come through: Pete's Fresh Market #18 grabbed three (retail food, shared kitchen, package goods), plus Gallery Furniture, Fabulous Hair and Weave Salon, and a BP tobacco license. Crime reports fell to zero from eleven.
