Ashburn logged 32 permits in November, down from 57 the month before. Permit value fell 30% to about $532k. Most permits came through the city's express program. Residents filed 839 service requests, a 19% dip, with graffiti removal leading the pack at 134 calls. Crime dropped 17% overall. Violent incidents fell from 80 to 54. No new businesses opened or closed. Two food establishments failed inspections, half the number from October.
