Permit activity fell sharply in May—just eight permits worth $520k, down from 16 permits and $2 million the month before. Graffiti removal requests led 311 calls with 79 reports, more than double the next category. Street lights out and broken traffic signals also drew complaints. Crime ticked up 5% to 84 incidents, with violent offenses nearly flat at 33. Food inspection failures rose from six to eight. No new businesses opened or closed.
