West Lawn pulled 15 permits in February worth $174,026—down 92% from January's $2.3 million. All were express permits. Eleven new businesses opened, including Andy's Paws (animal care), Planet Fitness, and a Dollar and Grocery La Pequenita. Crime jumped 32%, from 76 incidents to 100, while violent crime held mostly steady at 21. The neighborhood logged 671 service requests, led by 97 pothole complaints and 93 abandoned vehicle calls.
