Roseland permit activity drops 25% in June
Roseland logged 43 permits in June, down from 57 the month before, with total value falling to $878k from $1.2 million. Most permits—33 of them—came through the express program. Roseland's permit value shot up 656% in June, hitting $33.9 million compared to May's $4.5 million. The city issued 29 permits, down from 35 the month before. Twenty of those were express permits, with five renovation or alteration jobs and three demolitions rounding out the mix. No new business licenses or closures were recorded. It's a striking swing driven by at least one big-ticket project, though the neighborhood otherwise saw a quieter month on the ground.
