Crime dropped slightly to 349 incidents, but violent offenses ticked up by three to 140. Food inspection failures fell sharply, from six to two.

New City issued 22 permits in September, down from 39 the month before, with total value falling to $262,025—a 62% drop. Fifteen permits came through the express program. The neighborhood logged 1,338 service requests, led by 177 graffiti removal calls and 120 abandoned vehicle complaints. Crime dropped 10% to 298 incidents; violent offenses fell slightly to 130. Seven food establishments failed inspections, unchanged from August.
