Montclare residents filed 136 pothole complaints in April, driving a 45% spike in 311 requests overall. Crime dropped sharply—22 incidents versus 71 the month before, with violent offenses down from 13 to 7. Six new businesses opened, including Arturo's Mexican Food and 606 Fitness Gym. Permits rose to 11 from 6, though their total value slipped 5% to $174k. Nine of those permits came through the express program.
