Forty permits were pulled in June, down from 44 in May, but their combined value jumped 43% to $6.9 million. Twenty-five came through the express program. Another dozen covered renovations or alterations.
2025-06
Express permits dominate $1.2M month
Lower West Side issued 29 permits in June, down from 32 in May. Total value fell to $1.2 million from $42.1 million the previous month. Nineteen of the 29 permits were express permits. Six were for renovation or alteration, two reinstated revoked permits, and one each for signs and new construction. No new businesses opened.
