Permit value in Lincoln Park dropped from $35.7 million in August to $14.5 million in September, a 59% slide. The permit count fell from 147 to 97. Permit value in Lincoln Park jumped nearly 17% in September, hitting $22.3 million across 92 applications. Most of the activity came through the express permit program, which accounted for 58 filings. Renovation work added another 13 permits, and eight new construction applications pushed the total higher. The neighborhood logged seven sign permits and three demolition filings. No new business licenses or closures showed up in the data.
