Irving Park doubles permits but value tanks 85%
Irving Park pulled 68 permits in October, double the prior month, but their combined value cratered to $1.9 million from $12.9 million. Most were express-process jobs—44 in all—the kind that move fast and cost less. New businesses included West Details (motor vehicle services), T & M Candy Store, and Salon De Soleil.
