Hermosa pulled eight permits in December, down from eleven the month before. The total construction value fell sharply to $39,360—a drop of 86% from November's $276,000. Six of the eight permits came through the city's express program, which handles smaller residential and commercial jobs. One sign permit and one elevator permit rounded out the month. No new business licenses were issued.
