Englewood's construction value climbed nearly 50 percent in September, reaching $11.8 million despite 27 permits issued—down from 36 the month before. Express permits led the way with a dozen filings, followed by nine renovation jobs. Two new construction permits and two demolitions rounded out the activity. Englewood pulled 33 permits in September, up from 26 the month before, but the real shift was in value: nearly $1 million, more than double August's $417k. Seventeen of those permits came through the express program, with another nine for renovation work. No new business licenses showed up in the data, and the neighborhood logged a demolition permit.
