Permit value in Dunning fell by more than half in June, down to $604,161 from the previous month's $1.5 million. The 37 permits issued included 29 through the express program. No new businesses opened or closed. Residents filed 132 complaints about garbage carts, 115 about rats, and 100 about abandoned vehicles. Crime ticked down slightly—113 incidents versus 117 the month before, with violent offenses dropping from 39 to 36. Food inspections flagged just one failure, down from 13.
