Chicago Lawn issued 34 permits in November, down from 48 the month before. Permit value slipped 14% to about $763,000. More than two-thirds of the permits—23 out of 34—came through the city's express program, which handles smaller jobs. The neighborhood also logged seven sign permits, three renovation jobs, and one elevator permit.

Chicago Lawn issued 34 permits in November, down from 43 the month before. The bigger shift was in dollar value — $3.4 million this month versus $17 million in October, an 80% drop. Most of the work came through the express permit program, which accounted for 29 of the 34 permits. Five others were for renovation or alteration. No new businesses opened or closed during the month.
