Chatham permit value jumps 37% on express work
Chatham pulled 25 permits worth $805k in February, up from $586k the month before. Twenty of those permits came through the express program, which typically covers smaller repairs and maintenance. The remaining five split between renovation work, a sign permit, and one reinstatement. No new business licenses showed up in the data this month.

Permit value dropped 69% to $181k, mostly because fifteen of the month's sixteen permits were express jobs—quick turnarounds that don't cost much.
