Chatham permit value drops 73% to $794k
Chatham logged 37 permits in August, down from 49 the month before. Total construction value fell sharply — from $2.9 million to roughly $794,000. Most of the activity came through the city's express permit program, which accounted for 23 of the 37 permits. Nine sign permits and four renovation jobs rounded out the rest.
